Stone Mill… Warm Heart.

This has been one of my favorite job so far. Especially when it comes with such perks as free stays.. lol. Well only one so far, but it would have been well worth paying double price for. Our great friends David & Richard have literally poured their hearts into this Inn. With its unparalleled mix of Bed & Breakfast meets factory meets commericalism, it’s truly a wonder of its own.  We had the pleasure of staying in one of the rooms as our “reward” for helping in the painting and furniture building processes. These of course were their own rewards…. hmmmm.

The site has already received great response and I have received (self pat on back goes here) much congrats on a colorful easy to navigate and most of all speedy site. NOw if those people would purchase a site things would be great. Anyway I’m sidetracking again.

If you get the chance to visit or like me want to get away for the weekend once in a while, buy the package… it’s a steal and you more than get your monies worth.  I highly suggest the Sheard Suite, whcih is complete with it’s own jacuzzi tub…. yee ha…. now if it would only come with a cowboy, I’d move right in.

Sheard Suite

The best part of “The Inn at Stone Mill” is of course the hosts, David & Richard are always to be seen with a smile and friendly service. They truly make you feel like your at home, without having to do the cleaning, lol.

There are plenty of thing to keep you busy for your stay also, an Arts Exhibit is right across the street, Piccolo Rest (our favorite) right up the road, literally about 1/2 block away, easy walking for anyone. Ole Sals Ice Cream and Coffeee shop on the first floor with the Mustard Seed Antiques.  The Stone Mill , home of the inn, also sports it’s own theatre, a cozy 60 seater named “The Black Box Theatre” is an area favorite for local talents and shows among them our very own “Drags Along the Mohawk“. Second floor of the mill houses several business along with the theatre, such as a gym, massage therapist, art exhibits and others.

Treat your self to a great stay at the “Inn at Stone Mill“. I promise you will not be disappointed.
